Upcoming Events

The Senior Class president and vice president are elected in the spring prior to their final year. Once elected, they are responsible for selecting other students to serve as the senior marshals for their class. The marshals assist the class officers in their mission of fostering class unity, serving as the official representatives of their classmates and building stronger ties between their class and the University, its friends and alumni.

The class officers and marshals are responsible for a number of University activities. They serve as the official marshals at University Day and Spring and Winter Commencements prior to their own graduation. In addition, they assist the Office of Advancement with the class gift program, and they assist the General Alumni Association in soliciting new graduate memberships among their classmates. The Senior Class officers and marshals help facilitate programs such as 100 Days 'til Graduation and Spring Senior Week events, including the Senior Ball and Senior Class Send-Off.
