Whether you banged out your stories for The Daily Tar Heel on a battered Royal typewriter or Tweeted the news from your iPhone, you belong to the same proud club. And what’s the use of belonging to a club if you can’t get together and share that special bond? That’s why all alumni with ties to the DTH need to attend Homecoming/RAMpage 2009. 

DTHers of all eras will gather for a special tailgate celebration by the Bell Tower before the UNC vs. Duke football game, Saturday, Nov. 7, time to be announced. Yes, it’s not only Homecoming/RAMpage weekend, it's also Beat Duke weekend. How could you stay away?

Youngsters: Confuse your elders with tales of blogging and videos that go viral. Oldsters: Shock and amaze those who have no idea that "cut and paste" actually once involved a substance called rubber cement. Hoist a few with all those other folks who used to "Do It Daily" and reminisce about the long nights spent putting each precious issue to bed – and the longer nights spent on Franklin Street afterward.
