Renaming Debate Stays Open for Public Input

A decision on whether to rename Saunders Hall could come in late May. First, two of UNC's Board of Trustees have opened the dialogue to the public on a website - bot.unc.edu/comments. The site will be open for comments until April 25.

UNC Pays Willingham $335,000 to Settle Suit; No Reinstatement

Mary Willingham, whose claims that some athletes arrived at Carolina unprepared for academics helped focus investigations into the athletics-academics scandal, did not win her attempt to get her job back. She did receive a $335,000 settlement from the University.
