Set foot on Omaha Beach and visit the Normandy American Cemetery, contemplating the impact of D-Day and World War II. Admire the embroidery of the 11th-century Bayeux Tapestry and its delicate depiction of the Norman conquest of England. Marvel at the stunning medieval village Mont-Saint-Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage site, as it rises above tidal waters. Relax each evening at your first-class hotel in picturesque harbor town Honfleur. The colorful home to the ship-shaped wooden Church of Sainte-Cathérine, Honfleur delights visitors with its fishing-village charms. You’ll taste the region’s renowned Calvados apple brandy while enjoying lunch at a distillery set among the orchards, in addition to your extensive meal plan including wine with dinner.
