Lauren Applewhite ’18 graduated from UNC with a degree in management and society, and through various organizations and campus involvement, fell in love with the field of human resources. She currently works as a talent acquisition consultant with Private Diagnostic Clinic, PLLC | Duke Health, where she focuses on recruiting employees for both clinical and non-clinical roles at various Duke Health outpatient clinics. Lauren currently lives in Raleigh, N.C. and loves spending her free time with her six month old niece, trying new recipes to share with family and friends, and exploring new eats within the Triangle area with her fiancé.

Diamond  J. McKoy ’20 is a recent graduate of UNC and Wake Forest University. She received her undergraduate in both business administration and African American studies with a minor in sustainability studies in 2020. In May of 2021, Diamond received her masters of science in accountancy from the Wake Forest School of Business. Currently, Diamond is working as a staff accountant in Winston-Salem at Tullock Management Company. In her role, she serves as a liaison between her company and their subsidiaries to create and modify budgets, financial reports, and various federal and state required forms.

In the fall of this year, Diamond will begin her role at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an assurance associate. For now, Diamond has little free time because she is studying for her CPA exams, however, her hobbies include gardening and going on spontaneous adventures.
