Meet up with Tar Heels for this 90-minute talk and demonstration of beekeeping at the Carolina Campus Community Garden. You’ll learn about the benefits of beekeeping and how to start your own hive. Plus, you’ll get answers to all those beekeeping questions you’ve been itching to ask.

The Carolina Community Garden (formerly Carolina Campus Community Garden) is an engagement program of the North Carolina Botanical Garden. The CCG aims to grow vegetables and fruit so that all employees have access to fresh sustainably grown produce through the shared efforts of staff, students, faculty and local residents and to serve as a learning community for developing gardening skills, healthy living, social responsibility and interdisciplinary academic pursuits.

All sales are final; please note that tickets are not refundable.

Don’t forget to post a photo on social media during this event – tag @UNCGAA and #UNCAlumni.

$5 Processing Fee

Starting with the 2019 fall outreach series, there is a one-time $5 processing fee per participant. You will only have to pay this fee once if you are registering for multiple events. For example, register for this event today, pay the $5, come back and register for any other fall outreach events between now and December, and you don’t pay the $5 again.

This change is due to a move to a new registration platform, which we hope will make the registration process smoother, including you being able to change and update your own registrations, even in your pajamas. If you have any questions or concerns, please email
