Wake up. Grab coffee. If that’s you, this class is for you. Skip out of work early, and meet up with Tar Heels at alumni co-founded Counter Culture Coffee (Brett Smith ’94 (MBA) and the late Fred Houk Jr. ’73) for an exciting look into the world of coffee. While sampling six coffees, you’ll learn about tasting techniques, discuss the differences between coffees and how they’re grown and have an opportunity to ask questions about your favorite cup of Joe. After the tasting, you’ll tour Counter Culture’s roastery to learn where the magic happens. The class begins promptly at 3 p.m., please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Swag alert: All participants sample six coffees and receive a sample bag of a coffee from the tasting. Carolina Alumni members also head home with a reusable coffee sleeve. All sales are final; please note that tickets are not refundable.
