Wherever You Are
Price: $40; Carolina Alumni members pay only $25

Registration closed on June 10 to allow time for shipping.

Ignite creativity and inspiration by learning the art of paper flowers with Quynh Nguyen of Pink and Posey. Click in with us to learn the techniques to create the climbing rose. Quynh will show you how to create the various stages of a rose blooming on a vine: buds, just about to open and full bloom. She can’t wait to share her updated mitered leaf technique, as well as a new way to use crepe paper to wrap your stem. We’ll ship your paper flower kit right to your door if you sign up by June 10. Your kit will include crepe and other paper flower materials, along with all the details you’ll need to get ready for the live virtual workshop on June 24. Please come with your own scissors, paper towels or newspaper, and a glue stick. Wire snips are optional. You will also receive a recording of the demonstration after the live event, should you like to keep the creativity … flowering.

Don’t forget to post a photo on social media during this event. Tag us at @UNCGAA and #UNCAlumni.

Please note: This class will be recorded and shared with participants. The recording will be available via a private link to paid class attendees for 30 days, so if you end up not being able to make it or just need a refresher, we’ve got you covered. Also, by participating in this class in regards to sharing your name and turning on your camera, you are consenting to being recorded.

About Qyunh Nguyen

Quynh Nguyen is the artist behind Pink & Posey. Quynh’s vast experience using a crepe paper medium has allowed her to showcase her art in many ways. Most of her early work was dedicated to creating heirloom wedding bouquets until shifting into creating large, commercial art installations. She has been featured in Nordstrom, Fran’s Chocolates, and more. Her paper flower journey has been an amazing adventure, but she still finds her greatest joy in teaching others how to learn The Art of Paper Flowers.

Find Quynh on Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Pinterest, Twitter and Clubhouse @pinkandposey.
