Professor Samuel Amago teaches courses on modern and contemporary Spanish literary history, cinema and culture at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he is Chair of the Department of Romance Studies. He is the author of Spanish Cinema in the Global Context: Film on Film (Routledge, 2013) and True Lies: Narrative Self-Consciousness in the Contemporary Spanish Novel (Bucknell UP, 2006).

Cost is fully refundable for any cancellation made three weeks prior to the event. Any cancellations made two weeks prior to the event are subject to a 50 percent cancellation fee. No cost is refunded if the cancellation is made the week of the event.
