Hosting a holiday gathering this year and want to provide your guests with great drinks, but don’t want to spend the entire time playing the role of bartender? Click in with us as Suzanne ’13 (PhD) and David Minton ’89 from Cocktails Under Quarantine teach us how to make crowd-pleasing batch cocktails before the party starts so that you can spend the rest of the time enjoying yourself.

Suzanne and David will demonstrate how to make elegant cocktails in pre-made batches, like hot buttered rum and brandy milk punch. You’ll hop off this Zoom ready to go pick up their suggested ingredients list, knowing how to make three different cocktails as well as how to mix and serve them, create your own syrups and source your ingredients.

Be sure to tag @UNCGAA and #UNCAlumni during this event.

About Suzanne and David Minton

Suzanne ’13 (PhD) and David Minton ’89 created Cocktails Under Quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic to help people have fun while learning to make craft cocktails at home. While Suzanne dreams up the cocktails and stars in the videos, David handles all of the photography, videography, sound, lighting and editing.

Suzanne and David both graduated from UNC and currently live in Durham. In addition to their mixology adventures and careers, they enjoy raising their two children together.
