Used as a set for numerous movies and the inspiration for many artists, George Washington Vanderbilt II built this Châteauesque-styled mansion between 1889 and 1895. Still the largest privately owned house in the U.S., it is a place of architectural awe and natural beauty. Come walk with us as we stroll the grounds and linger in the Gilded-Aged halls and rooms of what Mr. Vanderbilt called his “little mountain escape.”

The Biltmore Estate class is a video featuring Freddie Kiger ’74 (’77 MAT). Registrants will receive a link to view class that allows access for two weeks. Registrants will also have the chance to connect with Freddie via live video chat (Sept. 29 and Dec. 1). Freddie misses the opportunity to meet with you in person but is delightful to connect with you and answer your questions virtually.
