For this session, we chronicle the story of the man who helped to give bluegrass music its distinctive sound. The three-finger picking style of Earl Scruggs revolutionized the genre and lifted the banjo from its background rhythm role to solo status. Sit a spell with us as we feature our native son from Flint Hill.
