Every time you step into the wilderness, be prepared to help yourself and others. This program has a wealth of valuable information to better prepare you for your adventures- from a day in the state park to an extended backpacking adventure deep into the wilderness and everything in between! You will be able to more confidently enter the outdoors knowing that you increased your knowledge and have better prepared yourself to face a variety of situations.

Participants will understand how to avoid or less chances of being in a survival situation; know some of their options in a survival situation; learn about the tools needed (and the tools they already have); and learn how to use those tools.
