Do I have to be a member of the Alumni Association to take advantage of Alumni Career Services?

No, but GAA members have exclusive access to certain services and receive discounted rates on fee-based Alumni Career Services. Membership in the GAA is open to anyone seeking closer ties to the University. Become a member today.

What is the difference between your services and University Career Services?

Alumni Career Services provides career management assistance and one-on-one coaching for alumni – from recent graduates to experienced professionals. Services are provided by phone, e-mail or in person. GAA members can take advantage of our Career Jump Start package ($500 value) which includes a one-hour coaching session. We are
part of the General Alumni Association and are located in the George Watts Hill Alumni Center.

University Career Services provides career advising and services to current UNC students and is located in Hanes Hall. For detailed information on services available to alumni through UCS, visit their Web site.

I don't live in Chapel Hill. How can I get services?

We can schedule appointments by phone or provide information by e-mail and the Internet. Call Linda Conklin at (919) 962-3749 to arrange a phone appointment.

How do I get a copy of my transcript?

Visit the Registrar's Office online. The fax and credit card option is explained under Method 2 (in writing).
