profile_mason_haileyHailey is a first-year student and plans to major in anthropology. She graduated with honors from Richmond Senior High School in Rockingham, where she lives with her parents, Daryl and Teresa Mason, and her brother, Daryn.

During high school, Hailey actively participated in various capacities of campus life. She was the president of the National Honor Society and a member of the Beta Club, Fellowship for Christian Students Club and C.U.R.E Club. Hailey also participated in soccer and served as co-captain of the volleyball team.

Hailey has been regionally and nationally recognized for her academic achievement, one of them being her attendance at the N.C. Governor’s School, where her main focus was science. Hailey accumulated over 200 hours of volunteer service at the local homeless shelter and elementary schools, the community theater, Relay for Life and Our Daily Bread Food Ministry.
