profile_jones_faithFaith was born in Newport News, Virginia and grew up in Durham, where she graduated from C.E. Jordan High School. In high school, she participated in musical theatre on and off campus, and her role as Dorothy in The Wiz earned her the award of Best Actress at DPAC’s Triangle Rising Star. After winning locally, she was a nominee for Best Actress at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, where she performed at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway.

In addition to being a performer, Faith has been politically active in her community, acting as a voice for Durham Public School students in the fight for more school counselors. For the past two summers, Faith has interned at the Go Project in New York City, a non-profit organization focused on educational inequity and providing youth with the individualized attention they need to succeed.
