2016 Light on the Hill Society Scholar
Nicholous B. Rucker ’20
Nicholous plans to major in psychology with a minor in neuroscience and is a member of the Honors program. Nicholous recently attended Central Cabarrus High school in Concord and graduated as the valedictorian of his class.
At Central Cabarrus High School, Nicholous was senior class vice-president and head of the school’s Community Service Committee. He also served as the president of the National Honor Society and vice-president of the Interact Club. These clubs served the community through fundraisers, food/clothes drives, and walks for Breast Cancer awareness, prevention, and treatments. His proudest accomplishment, however, was his work in co-founding the club Community Advocates.
