profile_mcphaul_oliviaOlivia graduated in the top 5% of her class at Mallard Creek High School. During her high school career, she was recognized for her citizenship, initiative and determination. She got A’s in all of her high school courses, along with spearheading and joining multiple clubs. Olivia founded the Noble Mav Society, which is a club meant to inspire and educate generations by hosting Black History Month events, mentoring middle school students and raising money for the organization’s scholarship.

While at Carolina, she aspires to create a similar organization for the advancement of future generations. Olivia was vice-president of the National Honor Society, marketing manager of the yearbook staff and a member of clubs such as DECA, HOSA, Mu Alpha Theta and the Quill and Scroll Honor Society. Outside of school, she is a part of the ASCEND Leadership Organization, and the Young Black Women Alliance (YBW). In her spare time, she volunteers at CMC University Hospital and enjoys reading and writing.
