Scott DeRue ’99, Jessica Holmes ’06 (’09 JD) and Bekah Brunstetter ’04 were recognized for bringing credit to the University through their achievements.
2018 Distinguished Young Alumni Award Citation
The Carolina Alumni Review has won two awards for feature writing in the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education’s 2018 Circle of Excellence competition.
The medals have been awarded since 1978 to alumni and others who have provided outstanding service to the association or the University.
The GAA’s Distinguished Service Medal citations are read to the audience at the Annual Alumni Luncheon and then presented as a keepsake to the recipients.
