Other Student Activities

In addition to our four premier student organizations and advising two campus a cappella groups, the GAA also creates and molds the Carolina experience for prospective and current students through a variety of events and initiatives.

The GAA co-sponsors and collaborates with Student Affairs and numerous other University offices and departments. This includes a variety of student-oriented programs including admissions and recruitment.

Hinton James Day Celebration

Official Class Ring Program

The UNC official class ring is available to students who are in good-academic standing with 60 credit hours or more, as well as alumni who may not have purchased a ring during their time as students. Learn more.

Welcome to Carolina Events

Each fall the GAA and Student Affairs invite all new students and their parents to unwind and cool down with staff members and campus administrators. The Friday before classes begin, a dinner in Chase Dining Hall is held for new students and their families. The following day, the GAA hosts its annual Open House. Learn more.
