2015 Light on the Hill Society Scholar
Megan S. Griffin ’19
South Mills, NC
Megan will be a first-year student this fall where she plans to major in chemistry. Megan graduated at the top of her class from a high school in the small town of Camden County, where she was known to be one of the school’s most active and driven students.
Throughout high school, Megan was a very well rounded student. She was president of three of the most active clubs in her school, a sprinter for the varsity track & field team for four years and a volunteer for several different organizations such as Chesapeake General Hospital, the community Fall Festival and the local food bank. She took some of the most rigorous courses her school had to offer – AP calculus AB and AP biology, and received and A in each. She has always been a student who believes in getting involved as much as humanly possible.
