Mentorship Series

Enhance Your Connection to Carolina: Mentor Undergraduate Students

The UNC General Alumni Association is launching a series of programs to develop mentor/mentee relationships between alumni and current students. As a part of the Carolina family, you have the unique opportunity to enhance your lifelong connection to The University of North Carolina by mentoring a current undergraduate student.

Alumni who are interested in serving as mentors should be willing to give their time in order to provide valuable support and guidance to a UNC student as they prepare for life after Carolina. Mentors should be able to:

  • Provide insight that guides students to make more informed professional preparation and development decisions
  • Promote student leadership and involvement on campus and with the GAA
  • Share important career related skills like teamwork, networking and problem solving with mentees
