Women’s Lacrosse are National Champions |
Carolina completed a perfect season last month with a 12-11 win over Boston College to claim the 2022 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship, the third national title in program history. Jenny Levy, the only head coach the program has ever known, started the program from scratch at age 24, and since the first season in 1996, it’s been clear she was the perfect choice. Read more. |

GAA Honors Alumni for Service, Advocacy |
The GAA Board of Directors awarded last month its 2022 Distinguished Service Medals to Patricia Ann Timmons-Goodson ’76 (’79 JD) and Terry Ellen Rhodes ’78. The Board presented on June 1 its inaugural Tony Rand and Tom Lambeth Advocacy Award to Richard Stevens ’70. |
