Class of ’91 25th Anniversary On-field Recognition
If you have a ticket to the Homecoming football game in Kenan Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 5, we invite you to participate in the Class of ’91 25th Anniversary On-Field Recognition.
Our designated gathering spot will be at the band director platform in section 116, which is located in the Tar Pit/student section of the stadium. Look for a GAA staff person who will be there with an easy-to-spot sign. We will ask all participants to sign a participant sheet just before going down onto the field so that we’ll have a record of who from the class participated in this historic event.
Plan to gather at the platform near section 116 when there are 30 minutes until kickoff by the game clock on the scoreboard. Plan to arrive on time; you will not be permitted on the field early or late. Please allow sufficient time to enter the stadium, go through security and navigate the crowds.
From section 116, we will escort your class to the field for the pregame program. After the 25th recognition, the group will move behind a roped off section and wait for the rest of the pregame program to finish. At this time, all pregame participants will be invited to cheer on the football team as they run out of the tunnel for the game.
Important notes:
- No spouses, guests or children will be allowed on the field with you.
- All alumni must exit the field immediately following the arrival of the team to avoid game time penalties.
- A GAA representative will provide any information regarding changes or updates you may need
- There are several activities occurring on field during the pregame program. Please stay with the class of ’91.
