Feb. 23 | Young Black Alumni Networking
We closed out Black History Month by hosting an evening of networking and discussion featuring four amazing young, Black #UNCAlumni. Erika N. Jones ’07 (law), Eric Campbell ’12 (investing), Alexis Davis ’13 (social media) and Lauren Caldwell Lea ’14 (fashion) shared their experiences during their time as Tar Heels and their life after Carolina. Do you receive emails from the class of 2021? We hope so! If not, update your information with the UNC General Alumni Association (GAA) so you receive emails from your senior class with all the latest happenings. One email to 2021@unc.edu does just that. Include “address update” in your subject line.
The Yackety Yack, UNC’s yearbook, is partnering with Prestige Photography by LifeTouch to hold senior portrait sessions. All seniors are invited to come and sit for a FREE senior photo session for the yearbook. The Alumni Center is located on Stadium Drive across the street from Teague Residence Hall.
Appointments are not required but strongly encouraged. Schedule your appointment by visiting ouryear.com, and entering school code 265 or by calling 1-800-OUR-YEAR (687-9327), Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. When you schedule your appointment, you will receive complete information on how to prepare for your portrait sitting.
Portrait sessions will be 15 minutes including a cap and gown shot (cap and gown will be provided) and a business attire shot. Proofs will be sent to your home address. No purchase is required. Portraits will appear in the 2021 Yackety Yack – you don’t want to be left out. The portraits are also perfect for professional networking and job search sites.
