Kick Off Football Season in Charlotte

Tar Heel fans are invited to kick off the football season as the ONE and only Carolina faces the South Carolina Gamecocks in the 2019 Belk College Kickoff. On Saturday, Aug. 31, the ONE Carolina Tailgate will be the place to eat, drink and get hype before the game. Join us, just steps away from Bank of America Stadium, for a buffet tailgate, cash bar, DJ and more.

Get tailgate and game ready by purchasing The ONE Carolina T-shirt (can be purchased on the registration form). Be there, be loud, turn Charlotte blue. Go Heels!

The ONE Carolina Tailgate is co-sponsored by the UNC General Alumni Association, The Rams Club, University Development Office and Carolina Athletics.

Tailgate Details

Registration is now closed. There will be very limited availability for on-site registration (first come, first served).

  • Date: Saturday, Aug. 31
  • Time: 12 – 3 p.m.
  • Location: BB&T Ballpark Charlotte, 324 South Mint St., Charlotte (a few blocks in walking distance of Bank of America Stadium)
  • Parking: BB&T Ballpark Charlotte | Belk College Kickoff

Menu (includes soda and water)

  • Buffet: Garden salad, triple play mac and cheese, build your own slider (buffalo chicken and BBQ), Cole slaw, veggie wraps with grilled fresh vegetables, quinoa, spinach and hummus (available upon request), chocolate chip cookies and self-service popcorn carts
  • Specialty Hot Dog Stations: The Mack Attack (triple play mac and cheese, jalapenos and chili), Carolina Dog (Cole slaw, pulled pork, BBQ sauce), Trubisky Dog (pickles, tomatoes, relish, chopped onions) or have it your way!
  • Cash Bar: Beer and wine will be available for purchase on site.

Tailgate Pricing (includes processing fee)

  • Adult Ticket: $40
  • Jr. Tar Heel Ticket: $20 (ages 5-12)
  • Toddler Tar Heels: Complimentary, no registration needed

Refund Policy
Tailgate refunds are permitted until 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on Sunday, Aug. 25, minus a $5 processing fee. Below are directions to cancel tailgate tickets.

  • At the bottom of your confirmation email, there is a link that reads: Click here to view the event summary; click that link to access your registration
  • Insert your confirmation number (can also be found on your confirmation email), click OK
  • Under The ONE Carolina Tailgate image, click the modify registration button
  • To cancel a ticket, click the unregister box next to the name of the individual in which you’re cancelling (NOTE: If you unregister the primary registrant, guests will also be unregistered)
  • Follow the prompts
  • To add a guest, follow the same process (you’ll see the add another guest button on the same page)
  • To add a T-shirt, follow the same process and click the registration link of the primary registrant, you can add T-shirts on this page

Not attending the party or game?  You can still purchase your ONE Carolina T-shirt on the registration form (be sure to select the ONE Carolina T-shirt option as your registration type).

  • Sizes: 2X-5X, $25 each
  • Shirts will ship on or before Aug. 19
  • A $5 processing fee will apply.

 

T-shirt is a 50/50 cotton poly dry blend, unisex sizing.
