In 2001, the GAA established a $500,000 scholarship endowment that provides the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid a means to help attract the best and brightest students. Three students from the incoming class of 2005 were selected as the inaugural GAA Scholars.
In 2007, the GAA Board of Directors added $50,000 to the endowment in honor of GAA President Doug Dibbert ’70 and his 25 years of service.
To date 12 students were awarded Dibbert Scholarships and 74 incoming students were named GAA Scholars. All scholars are selected by the Office of Scholarships and Student Aid. Scholars are invited to attend GAA Board of Directors’ Dinners, Scholar Receptions and other student events sponsored by the Association. Complete list of current and former GAA/Dibbert Scholars.
