A graduate of the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy in Mooresboro, Turner plans to pursue a major in Physics & Astronomy and a minor in Philosophy at UNC. He is eager to make new friends at Carolina that he will keep in touch for the rest of his life.
In high school, Turner was a member of the Academic Quizbowl Team, served as president of the Math Club and was on the varsity tennis team.
