Jones After Two Medals Now; Johnson Sidelined by a Fall

Marion Jones ’97 qualified Wednesday night for the long jump finals Friday with a jump of 6.70m. Jones also was named to the 4x100m relay team Wednesday night.

In the second heat of the 110m Hurdles, Allen Johnson ’93 lost his balance after hitting the fourth hurdle but regained it only to fall hard on the ninth hurdle. The Did Not Finish finishes the Olympics for Johnson.
