Homecoming Accommodations

Your General Alumni Association has worked with several area hotels to provide room blocks at special rates. These Homecoming blocks were designed to provide easy and affordable room bookings. Check out a camping option, too. This is also a helpful spot for game-day information and parking details.

Stadium Entry

Important information from the UNC Department of Athletics:

  • The gameday Ticket Office is located in the West Endzone at Gate 3 (near the Bell Tower.) The gameday Ticket Office will open beginning 2 1/2 hours prior to kickoff.
  • For the safety of you and others, many items are prohibited in Kenan Stadium.  Alcoholic beverages, artificial noise makers, baby seats, large backpacks and bags, balloons, banners and signs, coolers, food and beverages, large strollers, umbrellas, weapons of any kind and any other item that in the judgment of game management staff poses a safety hazard or detracts from the ability of others to enjoy the event are prohibited.  For a complete list of prohibited items, please visit Kenan Stadium Entry Policies.
  • “Tar Heel Tracker” is a new program offered to fans attending the game with children. Interested patrons should visit the “Tar Heel Tracker” table located at Tar Heel Town or inside Gate 3 prior to the game. A representative will provide children a wristband containing their parent/guardian’s name and seat location, making it easier to reunite the parties should they be separated.
  • Please keep in mind that there is a strict NO SMOKING policy within 100 feet of any campus building, including Kenan Stadium.
