Bill FerrissJoin UNC and UVA alumni in Paris to hear UNC Professor William Ferris speak about
his book Give My Poor Heart Ease: Voices of the Mississippi Blues (Les Voix du Mississippi). Professor Ferris was a Pulitzer Prize nominee and former chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities. He recently joined UNC professor Marcie Cohen-Ferris and UVA history Professor Liz Varon as faculty on an alumni and friends trip down the Mississippi River.

His lecture will be held from 2 – 4 p.m., in French at the National Institute of Art History. A reception hosted by the UVA Club of Paris will immediately follow.
