Mr. Johnson is the father of three Carolina legacies and the grandfather of two Carolina legacies. His accolades are many and include serving as Terry Sanford’s secretary of treasury, serving as a member of the UNC Board of Trustees and the second chairman of the UNC Board of Governors. He has been honored by the Law School as a Distinguished Alumnus and by the North Carolina Bar Association as a Distinguished Service recipient.
