How much does it cost to register?

DCRP Alumni/Guest:

  • Buffet Lunch: GAA Member $25 | Standard $40
  • Panel discussion and Reception : GAA Member $35 | Standard $50

DCRP Faculty and Staff/Guest:

  • Panel discussion and Reception : GAA Member $35 | Standard $50

DCRP Student:

  • Panel discussion and Reception : GAA Member $5 | Standard $15

DCRP Student Guest:

  • Panel discussion and Reception : $15

I'm having problems with online registration. Who can help me?

Email alumnievents@unc.edu if you are experiencing problems registering online. In you email please be very detailed in explaining your technical issues. This will allow us to troubleshoot before responding. Please allow 24 hours for a response. Purchasing your tickets several days prior to the deadline will allow us to be the most effective and efficient in solving online issues.

Can I cancel and request a refund for my registration?

Yes, you can cancel and request a refund for your City and Regional Planning 75th Anniversary registration.  The deadline to cancel/request refunds is 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, Nov. 5.

  • At the bottom of your confirmation email, click the link the reads: Click here to view the event summary to modify your registration.
  • You will need your confirmation number which is also on listed on your confirmation.
  • Click the cancellation button then follow the prompts.
  • To cancel a guest, select Remove by the Guest name.

How can I join or renew my GAA membership?

You can join and renew your GAA membership and take immediate advantage of member pricing – all at one time.

  • Click on Register Today.
  • From the registration type drop down, select a GAA member type.
  • Follow the prompts.

I'm a GAA member and my spouse/guest is not. Is she/he eligible for GAA member pricing?

No.  Only GAA members are eligible for GAA member pricing.   If your spouse/guest is not a GAA member, her/his tickets must be purchased at the standard package rate.

How do I modify or cancel my alumni registration?

To Modify Your Registration

  • Be sure you have your confirmation number, you will need this to modify your registration.  It can be found on your confirmation email.
  • At the bottom of your confirmation email (just above the privacy notice information), click on the link that reads: Click here to view the event summary. 
  • This will take you to the Modify Registration page.

To add items, on the Modify Registration page, under the City and Regional Planning 75th Anniversary banner, click the Modify button:

  • If you are adding items for you, click the registration link to the left of your name
  • If you are adding items for your guest, click the registration link to the left of the guest’s name
  • If you need to add a new guest, click on the Add Another Guest button
  • Follow the prompts

To cancel items, on the Modify Registration page, click the Modify button:

  • To cancel an item for you, click the registration link to the left of your name
  • The next page contains the membership options, click next at the bottom of the page
  • On this page, find the item you want to cancel, check the box next to unregister, then click next at the bottom of the page
  • You will return to the modify registration page, click next at the bottom
  • You will be taken to the submit payment page, click finish at the bottom
  • As long as you complete this process before the deadline, the system will process your cancellation and refund the amount of the event/item to the credit card used initially.
