Family Fun: Science Demos, Live Music and Encanto

Meet up with Tar Heels for a night of family fun at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences.

Schedule:

• 5:30-7 p.m.: Live science demonstrations, food available to purchase (including N.C. beer and wine) and live music.
• 7 p.m.: Disney’s Encanto begins in the WRAL 3D Theater. Following the movie, movie trivia will be played (with prizes), hosted by movie expert Skip Elsheimer.

Encanto is rated PG. The movie tells the story of the Madrigals, who live in the hidden mountains of Columbia. Each family member is blessed with a unique gift, except Mirabel. Find out how Mirabel saves her family from danger as only she can.

GAA members (adults only) receive complimentary admission. All others $5. Meet in the lobby of the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences for complimentary Tar Heel popcorn from The Mad Popper in Durham.
