For 65 years, Carolina helped to mold the future leaders of our state and nation. Then, with the Civil War came the demand for students to serve as soldiers. This period, 1861 to 1877, was one of our nation’s greatest trials.  For this session, we tell the story of UNC as it navigated its precarious way through those troubled times.

History of UNC Parts I and II are available again through May 18. Use sign up link above to register.

This class is a pre-recorded video featuring Freddie Kiger ’74 (’77 MAT). Sign up and receive a link to view class that allows access for two weeks. Registrants will also have the chance to connect with Freddie via live video chat. Freddie misses the opportunity to meet with you in person but is delighted to connect with you and answer your questions virtually.
