For 65 years, Carolina helped to mold the future leaders of our state and nation. Then, with the Civil War came the demand for students to serve as soldiers. This period, 1861 to 1877, was one of our nation’s greatest trials.  For this session, we tell the story of UNC as it navigated its precarious way through those troubled times.

This class is a pre-recorded video featuring Freddie Kiger ’74 (’77 MAT). Sign up, and receive a link to view the class that allows access Feb. 15 – June 15.

UNC History Parts I – VI are available through June 15. Sign up or view full class descriptions.
