Continuing a Legacy of Black Excellence

The Light on the Hill Society family of scholarships and awards are made possible through the generosity of Carolina alumni, family and friends. The LOTH Advisory Board proudly congratulates this year’s recipients. The diversity of talents these academically gifted and well-rounded students are adding to the Carolina family will be known for years to come.   • The Light on the Hill Society ($2,000/year), Peppers ($4,000/year) and High scholars ($3,000) are awarded to first-year students and can be renewed for up to three years
  • The Theta Omicron Black Male Excellence Award ($1,000/year) is presented to first-year Black male students and can be renewed for one year.
