Read MoreThe UNC men’s basketball team will celebrate its 2005 NCAA championship at its annual end-of-season awards event at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at the Dean Smith Center.
Admission is open to the public at no charge. Smith Center doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
The event will feature individual awards voted on by the coaches and based on performance, speeches by seniors Charlie Everett, C.J. Hooker, Jackie Manuel, Melvin Scott and Jawad Williams and a 2004-05 highlight video.
There is no dinner on the schedule, a change from previous basketball event formats.
Free parking will be available in the parking deck at the Rams Head Center prior to 5 p.m. and in the Manning, Bowles, Craige and Rams Head lots after 5 p.m.
Free park-and-ride bus shuttles will run from the Friday Center lot on N.C. 54 (across from Meadowmont) beginning at 5:30 p.m.
