9 – 10 a.m. | Guided Campus Tour – Meet at Davie Poplar

10 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. |  Enrichment Sessions – Wilson Library, Pleasants Family Assembly Room
Head back to class on Saturday morning for two exciting enrichment sessions. First, learn about Carolina’s architectural evolution, covering the past and where we are heading featuring Evan Yassky, executive director and university architect in the department of Facilities Planning and Design. Then, hear about demographic and historical shifts that have affected America and the implications for higher education featuring Dr. Jim Johnson, William R. Kenan Jr. Distinguished Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and director, Urban Investment Strategies Center at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. These are two sessions you won’t want to miss. Sessions start promptly at 10 a.m.

12:15 p.m. – 2 p.m. | Free Time/Lunch
Join your friends for lunch on your own. Then, make plans to tour some of our campus museums or to visit the planetarium. Hours are as follows:

2 p.m. | UNC vs. Miami Baseball Game – Boshamer Stadium
Join your classmates in Boshamer Stadium as you cheer on the Heels for the UNC vs. Miami baseball game. Tickets for the class block may be purchased on the registration form.

6:30 p.m. | Casual Classmate Meet Up – Hickory Tavern | 370-110 E. Main St., Carrboro
Meet up with classmates at Hickory Tavern for food and conversation while watching the ACC Tournament (where we hope to be cheering on the Heels). Please note: This has changed from a more formal reception to a casual gathering. All class of ’83 attendees who register for the guided campus tour, enrichment sessions or baseball game will be contacted on March 11 to be connected with fellow ’83 attendees to make dinner plans as desired. A small section is reserved at Hickory Tavern for those who would like to have dinner together.

Sunday, March 17 | Breakfast on your own and visit UNC Student Stores
Meet your friends for breakfast/brunch, then head over to UNC Student Stores to pick up some swag before heading home. UNC Student Stores hours on Sunday are from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
