Attendees got to hear Jenny Levy, head coach of the women’s lacrosse team, which won the 2016 national championship the weekend before the reception. Levy also played on a national championship women’s lacrosse team at Virginia, and her husband (Daniel ’93) played on the 1991 Carolina team that won the men’s national championship. Levy has been the only head coach in UNC’s women’s lacrosse history and is among the collegiate game’s most noted figures. In June, Lacrosse Magazine named her its national coach of the year. This year’s championship was the team’s second in four years. Photo by Ray Black III
