The Triumph of Christianity: How a Forbidden Religion Swept the World
Blue Zone (concourse level), Kenan Stadium

Within four hundred years a tiny band of Jesus’ followers conquered the entire Roman Empire. How did that happen? Join Dr. Bart Ehrman, James A. Gray Distinguished Professor in the department of religious studies, in this presentation on his latest book.

3 - 5 p.m. Freddie Kiger '74

Thomas Wolfe
Blue Zone (concourse level), Kenan Stadium

Native North Carolinian, novelist and alumnus of The University of North Carolina, Wolfe is considered one of the first masters of autobiographical fiction and North Carolina’s most famous writer. In this session, we’ll chronicle where many of those autobiographical stories took shape — at home in Asheville and right here as an undergraduate at Carolina
