Over 86,000 North Carolina men and women went overseas to participate in the First World War. In the battles of 2nd Marne, St. Mihiel and in the Meuse-Argonne, North Carolinians served in all major engagements on the Western Front in 1918. This evening we go “over there” to document their stories in “the war to end all wars.”
