Embrace your physical and mental health with our Healthy Heels series, including events designed to help you feel your best, wherever you are.

In the midst of our striving, achieving and doing, we rarely find time to slow down and make time for ourselves. Since we know this is true, especially now, we have designed a program for you to make time for your wellness.

Tune in from your desk chair (or, wherever you are) with the GAA and Patrice C. Graham ’09 for an accessible yoga practice designed to help release tension, promote relaxation and take care of your mind and body. This gentle class is open to all levels with a focus on poses that are good for opening the chest, shoulders, lower back and hips – where the most common workplace discomfort occurs.

This accessible practice is designed for participation wherever you are, with or without a mat, regardless of your experience and/or ability level.

About Patrice C. Graham '09

Patrice is a proud 2009 UNC alumnae and first attended a yoga class in 2008, but dismissed yoga as “just stretching.” After trying yoga again in 2012, she fell in love with the feeling of inner peace that the yoga practice provides. Inspired by the life-changing effects of yoga in her own life, Patrice completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. She aims to help impart the benefits of yoga to others, especially those that don’t feel represented.

Patrice is a Trauma-Informed 200 Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), mental health advocate, rest enthusiast, Virgo, empath and lover of people and life.
