Saturday, Nov. 4 | 7 p.m.
N.C. Zoo, 4401 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro
Ready for a sleepover at the zoo with Tar Heel families? Slither and slide your way into the secretive world of reptiles and amphibians with this unique experience. Discover the differences between these animals and what they can tell us about our environment. Spend the evening exploring the world of these elusive backyard creatures with games, activities and presentations. Invite a toad to live in your yard by building a toad abode, too.
This event is targeted toward families with children ages 7-12. Children under the age of seven are not permitted to participate in the Zoo Snooze. The cost for this event is $30 per person; families/groups with at least one GAA member receive a $15 discount off their total. Cost includes your ticket to the zoo for Sunday, too.
Arrive at 6:40 p.m. on Saturday evening. A light snack will be provided, but please eat dinner before arrival. Breakfast on Sunday morning is provided before you go into the zoo. Helpful links provided by the zoo: What to Bring and Zoo Snooze FAQs.
