GAA Honors Three for Service

The General Alumni Association Board of Directors presented three 2023 Distinguished Service Medals today.

The recipients were Dwight L. Jacobs ’87, of Waxhaw; Barbara Kilpatrick Lee ’88, of Chapel Hill; and Karen C. Shelton, of Chapel Hill. The medals have been awarded since 1978 to alumni and others who have provided outstanding service to the GAA or the University.
