How to Purchase Tickets

Please take a moment to review the registration reminders below BEFORE you begin the online registration process. This will help alleviate the most commonly made registration errors.

  • A limited number of football tickets are available to purchase in Carolina Alumni block. Tickets are purchased through and distributed by UNC Athletics. Football ticket purchase deadline is Oct. 17.
  • The registration deadline for Homecoming events is 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, Oct. 31. Questions? Please email alumnievents@unc.edu.
  • There are no Carolina Alumni discounts for football tickets and T-shirts. Football tickets, t-shirts and processing fees are non-refundable.

How do I order a Homecoming T-shirt?

You may order your ticket through at the link for Tailgate and T-shirts. The T-shirt is a Gildan 100% cotton short-sleeved ($25) and long-sleeved ($30) with free shipping. T-shirts ordered by Oct. 1 will be shipped to arrive by Nov.11. T-shirts ordered after Oct. 1 cannot be guaranteed by game day. While both T-shirts and Tailgate tickets are on the same registration form, you can order a Homecoming T-shirt only on the registration form without purchasing Tailgate tickets. Purchase your T-shirt today. There will be a $5 processing fee included with all orders.

T-shirts are 100% cotton with 3-color design. The front of the shirt reads, “Greatest Rivalry on Earth” and the Homecoming logo is on the back. Carolina Alumni logo is on the sleeve. Shirts are unisex and are available in sizes small to 4X.

Meet up with Tar Heels for the return of the Bell Tower Tailgate. Tailgate includes: barbecue, fried chicken, green beans, potato salad, coleslaw and rolls. Vegetarian and vegan options include: barbecue jack fruit, black beans and braised kale. Enjoy a variety of cakes for dessert. Beverages include iced tea and water. Our friends from Cackalacky and Cheerwine will be sharing samples at the tailgate. Don’t miss the #BeatPitt balloon photo opp or picking up the official Homecoming button.

Where can I park on Game Day?

University game-day parking is listed here. Know the Friday Center shuttle ends approximately 45 minutes after the game.

What is the price for the football game tickets?

Why is there a $5 per person processing fee?

To streamline our reunion processing and to create a more efficient and secure online registration experience, we have upgraded our event management system. This has resulted in a processing fee similar to other online event systems (e.g. Ticketmaster, UNC Ticket Office, Fandango, etc.) plus you have more control of your ticket purchasing.

You can now add, cancel and request refunds from your laptop or mobile device. Our system will also allow us to go ticketless. The fee directly supports system monitoring and frequent upgrades and does not fund any reunion activities. The $5 processing fee is nonrefundable.

I'm having problems with online registration. Who can help me?

Email alumnievents@unc.edu if you are experiencing problems booking your Homecoming experience. In your email please be very detailed in explaining your technical issue. This will allow us to troubleshoot before responding.  Please allow 24 hours for a response.  Beginning the ticket purchase process before the deadline will allow us to be the most effective and efficient in solving online issues.  

How can I join Carolina Alumni?

You can join Carolina Alumni, purchase your tickets and take immediate advantage of member pricing – all at one time.

Click on the Tickets on Sale Now button, fill in your name and email and from the registration type drop down select I’m a Carolina Alumni member/I want to join/I need to renew. Follow the prompts from there.

I'm a Carolina Alumni member and my spouse/guest is not. Is she/he eligible for Carolina Alumni member pricing?

No.  Only Carolina Alumni members are eligible for Carolina Alumni member pricing.   If your spouse/guest is not a Carolina Alumni member, her/his tickets must be purchased at the standard rate.

Where are the football tickets on the online form?

The football tickets button links to tickets sales.

What time is the football game?

Game times are set by the ACC and will typically be announced 7 – 10 business days prior to game day.

How will I receive my football tickets?

Tickets purchased via this website will be sent, electronically within 48 hours of the game.  Please note, we are unable to accommodate specific seating requests.  To guarantee  you are seated with a specific group, please purchase all tickets on one registration form (as you would with Ticketmaster, Live Nation, etc.). If you experience technical errors with purchasing football tickets or have any concerns, please contact Fevo ticketing support at support@fevo.com

Where are the Homecoming football tickets located?

The Homecoming football block will be determined by UNC ticket office. (view seating chart).

Do I need a football ticket for my three year old?

Per the UNC Athletic Department, everyone over the age of two will need a football ticket for admission. Two years and younger will not need a game ticket but will have to sit on a parent’s lap.

I'd like to sit with my friends at the football game. Is that possible?

To guarantee you are sitting with specific individuals, football tickets must be purchased all together on one (1) registration form (e.g. same as if you were purchasing tickets from Ticketmaster or Live Nation). Any game tickets purchased on one registration form will be seated together.

How do I add football tickets to an existing registration?

To ensure that you are all seated together, all tickets should be purchased at the same time. If subsequent orders are made by the same purchaser, all efforts will be made to be seated together but are not guaranteed.

How do I add events or merchandise to an existing registration?

  1. Be sure you have your confirmation number; you will need this to modify your registration. It can be found in your confirmation email above the ORDER SUMMARY.
  2. At the bottom of your confirmation email (just above the privacy notice information), click on the link that reads: CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE EVENT SUMMARY.
  3.  This will take you to the page to enter your confirmation number; enter your confirmation number, click OK.
  4. On the next page, under the event header (name of the event), click the MODIFY button.
  5. This will take you to the MODIFY REGISTRATION.
  6. To add T-shirts, scroll down to the T-shirt section.
  7. Insert the number of T-shirts in the corresponding size, click NEXT. 
  8. You will now see that you are back on the MODIFY REGISTRATION page, click NEXT.
  9. You should now be on the REGISTRATION SUMMARY page
  10. Under the Agenda section, you’ll see the number of T-shirts you just added, highlighted in yellow.
  11.  You should now be on the SUBMIT PAYMENT page; you’ll see the total amount due from this addition; follow the prompts.

Seating for patrons with disabilities is available by exchanging the tickets you possess for disability accessible seats with supervisors in the West End Zone (Section 112-119) or near the visitor section (100) or section 131.
