Join Tar Heels far and wide as they gather to celebrate and send off our newest Tar Heels, #UNC21, to Chapel Hill.
Summer Send-Offs, sponsored by the New Student & Family Programs and the General Alumni Association, are informal gatherings for newly enrolled first-year and transfer students and their family members. These events take place in various regional areas both in and out of state and offer an opportunity for new students and their families to meet current Carolina students, alumni, University representatives and other family members in a casual and relaxed setting. Summer Send-Offs create a wonderful opportunity to bring the Carolina family together and allows students the opportunity to begin building support systems before starting at Carolina in August.
