Crew Registration & Pricing

Online Registration Opens Oct. 1

Please review the following guidelines BEFORE completing your registration. All registrations will incur a $5 processing.

What's the registration deadline?

Sunday, March 29, 2020, 11:59 p.m. (EDT)

  • Processing fees are nonrefundable
  • GAA member discounts are not valid after this date.

How much are the registration and merchandise prices?

Full Weekend/Anniversary Banquet

  • Adults: $100 (GAA member pays $70)
  • Includes all reunion activities (merchandise is not included, see additional pricing below)
  • Also the fee for registrants who only attend the banquet

Regatta and Lunch

  • Adults: 25 (GAA member pays $15)
  • Jr. Tar Heels: $10 (ages 12 and under)
  • Fee for registrants who are only attending regatta and lunch on Saturday.

Crew Merchandise

  • Jacket: $130
  • Polo: $50
  • T-shirt: $25

Why is there a $5 per person processing fee?

To streamline our reunion processing and to create a more efficient and secure online registration experience, we have upgraded our event management system. This has resulted in a processing fee similar to other online event systems (e.g. Ticketmaster, UNC Ticket Office, Fandango, etc.) plus you have more control of your ticket purchasing.

You can now add, cancel and request refunds from your laptop or mobile device. Our system will also allow us to go ticketless.  In 2019, we’ll move away from paper tickets and your name tag will be scanned for event entry. The fee directly supports system monitoring and frequent upgrades and does not fund any reunion activities. The $5 processing fee is nonrefundable.

How do I cancel my registration and request a refund?

As long as capacity permits, you can add guests until 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sunday, March 29, 2020.

Be sure you have your confirmation number; you will need this to modify your registration. It can be found in your confirmation email above the ORDER SUMMARY.

  • At the bottom of your confirmation email (just above the privacy notice information), click on the link that reads: Click here to view the event summary.
  •  This will take you to the page to enter your confirmation number; enter your confirmation number, click
  • On the next page, under the image header, click the MODIFY button
  • This will take you to the MODIFY REGISTRATION
  • Next to the name of each registrant, in the modify column, there is an Information link and a Registration link; click on the Registration link of the person in which you are adding events.
  • If you are adding events for the primary registrant, the next page you’ll see  the MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS page, click NEXT and you’ll see the CURRENT SELECTION AND EVENTS  (If you are adding events for a guest, the next page you’ll see is the CURRENT SELECTION AND EVENTS)
  • On the CURRENT SELECTION AND EVENTS page, check all the events you’d like to add for that person, click NEXT
  • Repeat this step for each person in which you are adding events
  • If you need to add merchandise, this must be done under the primary registrant’s registration (see step 6, click on Registration link for the primary registrant, click NEXT on the MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS page, on the next page, CURRENT SELECTION AND EVENTS, scroll down to the merchandise section and insert ONLY the number of items you are adding ,click NEXT
  • You will see that you are back on the MODIFY REGISTRATION page, click NEXT
  • You should now be on the REGISTRATION SUMMARY page
  • Under the Agenda section, for the primary registrant, if you added a guest and or merchandise, you’ll see those items highlighted in yellow plus those items from your initial registration. No worries, you are ONLY being charged for those items highlighted in yellow; the next page will show you the amount you will be charged for these modifications)
  • To see the events you’ve added for your guests, click the name of each guest.
  • REMEMBER…merchandise only show on the primary registrant’s registration; you will not see merchandise on any guest registration.
  • You should now be on the SUBMIT PAYMENT page; you’ll see the total amount due from this addition; follow the prompts

How do I cancel my registration and request a refund?

You can cancel and request a refund (sans processing fees) anytime before 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on Sunday, March 29, 2020. Instructions are below:

  • At the bottom of your confirmation email, there is a link that reads: Click here to view the event summary; click that link to access your registration (NOTE: Processing fees are nonrefundable).
  • Insert your confirmation number (can also be found on your confirmation email), click OK
  • Under crew image, click the modify registration button
  • To cancel a ticket, click the unregister box next to the name of the individual in which you’re cancelling
  • You will need to check the unregister box for event you are cancelling (do this for each registrant)
  • Then, follow the prompts.

I'm a GAA member and my spouse/guest is not. Is she/he eligible for GAA member pricing?

No.  Only GAA members are eligible for GAA member pricing.   If your spouse/guest is not a GAA member, her/his tickets must be purchased at the standard rates.
