I first became familiar with Carolina through the basketball team (Tyler Hansbrough ’09 and Michael Jordan ’86) and I instantly became a die-hard UNC and Chicago Bulls fan. As I grew older, I realized UNC offered more than just the athletic excellence; by the end of middle school, I was familiar with their amazing academics and it fueled me to strive for the best.

In high school, I noticed my passion for business and the the ability to go to Kenan-Flagler was a strong reason why UNC remained number one on my list. Something I’m very passionate about is sneakers. After graduation from Carolina, I dream of working at Nike’s headquarters as an executive. I am confident that no matter which path I take, I’ll be granted opportunities and experiences that make my dream pretty realistic.

Overall, Carolina has a certain personality, character, atmosphere and community, which is why I love it.
