I’m from just outside a really small rural town called Whiteville. Our biggest attraction is Wal-Mart and excitement flavors the air and finds its way into the hearts of many over small events such as donut sales.
Being from such a small place, I’ve craved the ability to live within an environment that is thriving and teeming with joy and adventure. Chapel Hill called to my desire and enticed me with a promise of a wonderful four years at UNC. So, here I am as part of the class of 2022. In the future, I hope to be a psychiatrist and have an active role in influencing health policy.
