I was born in New Jersey and raised in Kentucky and in Asheville. I chose Carolina because of its strong, supportive community and its academic prestige.
The most important things to know about me are: I am very family-oriented, I am a Seventh-day Adventist and my faith is very important to me, and I have a passion for social justice. I have seen people in my family, my religion and my race struggle with the law for various reasons, and because of this, I plan to major in political science on the pre-law track. I would like to become a lawyer and eventually a judge to do my part in repairing our justice system and to give back to the communities that I love.
